The episode we studied was set in 1970, the year the conservative party came into power, this means the society had been going through change, this effected the values in society. London to Brighton on the other hand, was set in a modern time, in which the labour party were in power and had been since 1997. The advancement in society oppend a loop hole for gang culture.
